We are Breath of Hope, a student-led lung cancer awareness team from Southwest Guilford High School in High Point, North Carolina. Led by: Raneem Asad, Brang Aung, Khadija Alvi, and Maya Abuzied.

We started this project after realizing how many people were being diagnosed with lung cancer unexpectedly. As we learned more, we saw how little awareness there is about the risks and warning signs of this deadly disease.

That’s why we created Breath of Hope: to educate others, raise awareness, and encourage early action. Because we believe knowledge can save lives.
